What is Bungee Workout?

The gravity defying class taking the international fitness world by storm. The Bungee Workout, a dance and fitness combination class is an amazing resistance training and full body cardio workout. It works and tones almost every muscle in your body with a strong focus on your core strength. The bungee cord is attached to the back of the hip harness, allowing you to move freely and access athletic and otherwise physically unattainable moves. The powerful bungee cord is also a potent resistance training tool, used to enhance overall muscle toning and fitness performance. It provides safe, secure, yet challenging resistance for strengthening and sculpting muscles at the same time. The aerial component gives a total body cardio workout that leverages gravity and body weight. You are dripping sweat by the end of the class, but you don’t realize how hard you have worked because it is so much fun.

And did we mention – you get to fly.

Private Group Classes

Looking for a fun fitness event for your friends, co-workers or family members?  At Pop Fit Studio, we offer private instructional Bungee classes for your group.

From team building events, girls night out, to date night our facility can provide the perfect location for any event.

Classes are limited to up to 9 participants. See below for pricing and scheduling options.

  • Monday through Friday 12pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am
  • Saturdays & Sundays anytime after 12:30p

Want to add a post workout happy hour to your event. BYO food and drinks and enjoy some time with your group after your session. ($100 additional fee due at event)

 Schedule your private class below. At the time of scheduling you will need to make a $100 non-refundable deposit with the balance due at the event. Although deposits are non-refundable they can be transferred to another day/time with at least 24 hours notice.

Studio Classes

Bungee Workout™: Our signature class is a cardio-intensive and core-focused workout which synchronizes bungee techniques with pumping music, coming together in a seamless and soaring fitness experience.

All of our classes offer basic skills to start since everyone is new to bungee but we also offer variations for those that want to experiment and challenge themselves from their first class through the 100th class.

*Intermediate class is open to anyone that has taken bungee with us at least 3 times and has perfected the fly up, plank and burpee.

Join us for a week of unlimited studio classes plus one bungee class. Our studio classes include dance, barre, bounce, pump, boxing, pound and more.

BUNGEE WORKOUT PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Bungee Workout is a rigorous, high-cardio exercise that uses the resistance of the bungee cord.

Participants must be in good health and not be under any movement restrictions from a doctor. Expectant mothers or those who gave birth recently (natural birth in the last 6 months or cesarean section in the last 12 months) should not participate in the workout.

You must not have any current injuries or recent surgeries (no surgeries in the past 6 months). Participants in Bungee Fitness cannot be pregnant.

 

Yes we do have a weight limit and measurement limits.For our clients’ safety and comfort, the weight limit for our facility is 300 lbs. Harnesses fit a variety of sizes with the max measurements of Waist 52″ and Leg Loop: 34″. If you do not meet these requirements you will not be able to participate in class. The weight limit is determined by the structural engineering specifications, architects, and insurance as well as our equipment (bungee cord strength and size of harnesses).

Yes.  All Bungee Fitness classes have an age requirement of 18 years of age. For those under 18 they can join a class with their parent with studio permission. Please contact the studio prior to reserving your spot. We do now offer a teen and kids classes.

You must not take a Bungee Workout class if you are pregnant. You should also only participate in Bungee Workout 6 months after natural childbirth or 12 months after having a caesarean section.

BUNGEE WORKOUT FIRST TIMERS

Bungee Fitness is new to Pop Fit Studio so at this time you are welcome to take any class on our schedule.

But if you are nervous and would like a slightly slower paced class we recommend Basic Bungee. This moderately-paced cardio exercise class is the perfect class to build confidence and hone in on your bungee skills.

All of the fun elements seen in our signature Bungee Workout class, but with a slower pace to break down bungee techniques step by step.

For all classes please make sure to come early to class, so that we can get you fitted for the equipment.

Our bungee class will begin with a warm-up, followed by putting on the bungee gear. Once you have your gear on and are clipped on to the bungee cord, you’ll move on to the conditioning phase. During this segment of the class, you’ll learn and practice a bungee routine choreographed by your instructor. After the conditioning phase, your class will end with a cooldown to bring your heart rate down and stretch your muscles.

You may feel some discomfort and pressure from the harness. Just like many other sports, such as spinning and boxing, where it takes some time to get used to the apparatus, it will take a few bungee classes to feel comfortable with the harness. We encourage you to keep trying; the more you practice, the more you’ll enjoy Bungee Workout!

You should arrive at least 10 minutes before class. If you arrive after the start time of class, you will not be able to participate in the class. We set up your equipment once you arrive and for your safety, you must do a proper warm-up to participate in our bungee classes.

Clothing:
Female participants: Wear comfortable and fitted clothing. Leggings, running tights, tank tops and t-shirts are great options. Avoid baggy clothing, as it may get caught by the bungee gear. Also, wear a top that covers your midriff, and seamless and soft underwear (no laces) to prevent chafing.

Male participants:
Wear fitted pants or shorts with a smooth waistband, e.g. running tights. For tops, t-shirts and tanks work well.

Shoes:
Our workout is done barefoot no no footwear is required.

Jewelry:
You should remove all jewelry, especially belly ring before class. Necklaces, bracelets and larger earrings can get caught by the bungee gear. Also avoid very long nails as they can get in the way of your workout.

You should eat a few hours before class in order to have the energy to take Bungee Workout. However, you should not eat within the last hour before class to avoid any stomach discomfort during class.

You can bring a water bottle with you, we have a water fountain and we also sell water for $1. We provide a towel for your workout.

We provide towel service and a complimentary coffee/tea bar. We also have a water fountain. We have cubbies for you to store your belongings along with coat hooks. Our single unisex bathrooms are large enough to change in and we also sell Body Wipes for freshening up after a workout. Our bathrooms are also equipped with toiletries and a hairdryer.

POLICIES

Registration is simple. You can utilize our online schedule and register through our website or download our app for iPhone or Android. If you are new to Pop Fit Studio, please complete your online liability waiver during the registration process.

If a class is waitlisted you can add your name to the waitlist. If you no longer want to attend the class please remove yourself from the waitlist. We confirm classes the day prior and require an 8 hour cancellation window. If anyone cancels we will notify the first person on the waitlist and 8 hours prior to the class to see if they would like that spot. If you are unable to be moved from the waitlist to the class your registration will be cancelled and a credit will be in your account for a future class. We do not offer refunds on any purchases: class sign ups are final (including waitlisted classes) but if you cancel your registration within 8 hours we will you will have a credit in your account foe future use.

Although we would prefer 24 hours notice on all cancellations, we do understand that life happens. Please note that if you have not cancelled within 8 hours of your class, it will be deducted from your account. There are only 9 spots in each class, therefore it is important to not only book in advance, but cancel with as much notice as possible. We truly appreciate your consideration.

For private classes and parties there is a $100 non-refundable deposit when booking. Although deposits are non-refundable they can be transferred to another day/time with at least 24 hours notice.

For all classes we ask that clients make sure to come early to class, so that we can get you fitted for the equipment. We cannot allow anyone to enter the class late, after equipment has been set up we cannot set up those who arrive late.

Since many of our bungee classes are waitlisted we do not allow individuals to  transfer their spot to someone else. The next person on the waitlist would get first access to any cancelled spots. 

Packages can only be shared by family members living in the same house or if you have a relative visiting from out of town that you would like to add to your account. If you have a group of friends you would like to purchase for then we suggest setting up a private party or lesson.

Please consult the Pop Fit Studio team prior to signing-up if you have heart conditions, scoliosis, back injuries, knee injuries, or had recent surgeries.

For participants’ safety and comfort, we have a weight limit of 350 lbs. Our bungee harnesses will fit up to 52” waist and 34” thigh circumference.

Our age guidelines are as follows: 18 years of age and older, 16 years of age with a parents permission. Please contact us if you have a child that is under 16 that would like to participate with you as we do make some exceptions for those as young as 13.

All Sales are final and we do not offer any refunds. Our passes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferrable.
